  • Layby can only be used on 1 item that exceeds $100 or more.
    You can combine your items for layby but each item must be $100 or more.

  • Payments:There is a 20% deposit on the full price of the item or items, with 3 months to pay from the date we recieve the deposit.
    Its up to you when you choose to make payments i.e weekly, monthly or maybe just 1 payment the choice is yours, but it must be payed by the end of the 3 month term or there will be penalty fees. You can make your payments through the website with our safe and secure credit card service, or send a cheque to our P.O.Box Number, or a bank deposit.

  • Penalty Fees:If you have not payed the full amount by the end of the layby term (3 months), Consumersave has the right to keep your deposit (20% of the full price of the item or items), for administration and storage fees. You will lose the right to your item or items and they will be resold.
    If you have made payments on top of your deposit they will be refunded back to the customer via cheque, or bank deposit.

  • Can you Terminate layby?:Yes you can pull out of you layby at any stage of the 3 months but there will be penalty fees.
    If you terminate your layby in the first month (from the day you made your deposit), there is a 10% penalty fee on the total price of your item or items (Half your deposit). If you terminate after the first month up until the end of the 3 months your penalty fee will be your full deposit (20% of total price of your item or items). Consumersave has the right to charge these penalty fees for administration and storage fees.
